Gary Muszynski, much sought after as a keynote speaker, consultant, and executive coach, is a recognized leader in the application of music and the performing arts to leadership, collaboration, and workplace innovation.
An educator, facilitator, instructional designer, and musician, Gary is chief engagement officer for Orchestrating Excellence, a global consulting and learning firm committed to helping individuals, groups, and organizations with collaboration and out-of-the-box thinking by leveraging the power of music. Throughout the past 27 years, the firm’s curricula and programs have impacted more than 100,000 leaders, managers, and individuals worldwide.
In addition to having worked for Xerox PARC as the lead research consultant, and serving many top Fortune 500 companies—including Genentech, Wells Fargo, Pixar, Cisco, Starbucks, and Disney—Gary has designed and delivered programs for the Center for Creative Leadership, the Institute for the Future, the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Apple University, and the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where he was a guest lecturer.
As an accomplished and skilled percussionist, Gary composes and performs on a wide variety of percussion instruments from Europe, Brazil, Africa, Cuba, and Indonesia, places he’s traveled to study and absorb the diverse expressions of melody, harmony, and rhythm. He currently makes his home in Marin, California.
