Laraine Herring is an accomplished writer and teacher with an MFA in creative writing and an MA in counseling psychology. Her workshops blend curiosity, play, and keen self-observation, using breath, movement, and the wisdom of the body to help writers break through creative blocks.

She is the director of the creative writing program at Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona, and works as a book consultant for Tracking Wonder. She is also the founder and Head Monkey of Fierce Monkey Tribe, and serves as faculty for the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health.
