Lidia Zylowska is a UCLA-trained psychiatrist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine, specializing in integrative treatment of adult Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and mindfulness-based therapy.
She is a cofounding member of the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center where she developed the Mindful Awareness Practices (MAPs) for the ADHD program. In her practice, she integrates conventional and holistic or complementary-alternative medicine to support mental well-being and is committed to approaches that integrate wellness and natural healing into their care plan.
Currently based in Northern California, Dr. Zylowska practices integrative psychiatry and divides her time between clinical care, teaching, and consulting.
She is the author of the award-winning book The Mindfulness Prescription for Adult ADHD: An 8-Step Program for Strengthening Attention, Managing Emotions, and Achieving Your Goals.
