Myoshin Kelley first began meditating in 1975 and has since practiced under the guidance of several renowned meditation teachers in all three major Buddhist traditions. She was trained as a meditation instructor by Joseph Goldstein and Sharon Salzberg at the Insight Meditation Society (IMS) in Barre, Massachusetts.
A teacher at the Forest Refuge, the long-term practice center at IMS, Myoshin is also a devoted student of Mingyur Rinpoche, who she helps support in his worldwide vision of the Tergar Meditation Community. She leads meditation retreats, workshops, and leadership training programs internationally and in the United States as a senior Tergar instructor.
She offers a variety of programs for the benefit of both secular and Buddhist audiences alike that experientially explore how the practice of meditation and the wisdom of an open heart, support the path of awakening.
