Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar is an author and lecturer and the cofounder and CLO of Wholebeing Institute. At Harvard University he taught one of the school’s most popular courses (on positive psychology), and he is currently teaching at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya, Israel, where he cofounded the Institute for Positive Psychology in Education.
The author of five books, including the bestseller Happier: Learn the Secrets to Daily Joy and Lasting Fulfillment, Tal consults and lectures around the world, integrating theory and practice, East and West, philosophy and psychology. An avid sportsman, Tal won the US Intercollegiate and Israeli National squash championships.
He holds a doctorate in organizational behavior and a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and psychology from Harvard. Tal created the Certificate in Whole Person Positive Psychology, teaching the program alongside Megan McDonough and Dr. Maria Sirois.
