Program Description

As someone trained in Transcendental Meditation™ (TM) as taught by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, you are part of a unique network with a shared foundation of practice. This week, you can come together with fellow meditators and TM teachers to deepen your experience and reflect on the history of Maharishi’s work and the nuances of his teachings.

This reunion is not an official TM program, but is a chance to gather together—whether you learned TM 40 years or 40 days ago, whether or not you stayed with it, and whether or not you are currently affiliated with the TM organization.

Structured like a traditional TM residence course, the week consists of morning and afternoon “roundings” (cycles of asanas, pranayama, and meditation), plus presentations, discussions, and audios.

You will:

  • Reconnect with the power of TM by taking time for extended personal practice
  • Learn about TM’s origins in the context of traditional Indian philosophy
  • Explore Maharishi’s unique place in history
  • Reflect on your relationship to the practice and the TM movement and deepen your understanding of the physical, mental, and spiritual benefits of TM
  • Refine (or learn) the TM asanas with Tulsi Bagnoli, a TM teacher and certified yoga instructor who will lead short yoga and pranayama classes each morning.

Dana and Phil were made teachers by Maharishi in the 1970s and became scholars and authors in related fields. They will share vital lessons from their decades of research and experience and will facilitate respectful, inclusive, non-doctrinaire conversations.

Bring an open heart and a curious mind to this special gathering of the TM tribe.

Why Attend?

  • Immerse yourself in a week of practice and reignite your passion for meditation.

  • Engage on a deeper level with Transcendental Meditation by taking time for extra practice, participating in relevant discussions, and reflecting on the meaning of TM in your own life.

  • Reunite with old friends and connect with other TMers to share your experiences.
