This immersive, hands-on training will empower you to expand your professional repertoire—or begin a new career. You will gain the knowledge and experience to facilitate a unique somatic and cognitive process that improves physical health along with emotional and mental well-being and can be used with a wide range of clients.
Deon de Wet will focus on working the energy lines along the legs, arms, and back by applying Thai-style acupressure, with the client lying face up, face down, and seated. While the emphasis is on practical application, you will also be introduced to the theory, history, and philosophy behind this highly effective healing system.

Deon de Wet has been practicing and teaching Thai Yoga Massage/Therapy internationally for many years. He is committed to showing people how to help themselves and others feel better by naturally finding and exploring the bliss in their body. He now lives in the Upper Ojai Valley, where he offers private sessions and teaches Thai Yoga Massage practitioner certification classes.
Deon first discovered Nuad Bo Rarn, or traditional Thai Massage, while traveling in Thailand on vacation in 2000. Since then, he has completed several training courses and obtained certification as an advanced Thai Yoga practitioner (by Saul David Raye in the United States and Pichest Boonthumme in Thailand); Hatha Yoga teacher (Anusara style); and Massage Therapy Practitioner (Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing).
To date, he has trained massage and skin-care therapists, yoga practitioners and instructors, couples, friends, and family throughout the United States as well as in Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and South Africa.

24 continuing education hours are granted for course completion through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and approved by New York State for LMT license renewal.
