Loving Bravely

A Relationship Readiness Course

1440 Multiversity 800 Bethany Drive Scotts Valley,CA 95066

Real love starts with you. How do you become a good partner to yourself first? The self is a dynamic and unfolding story, and your emotional wellness depends on your willingness to turn and look inward at how you “story” your life.

Join Alexandra H. Solomon, PhD, on a “journey within” to weave together the self and its underlying systems using the Integrative Systemic Therapy model. Learn to name and connect with aspects of self, and favor action over reaction in relationships. Through didactic activities, group discussion, journaling, and one-on-one sharing, you will explore:

  • Why and how expectations for romantic relationships are different than any others, and what we need in order to succeed
  • Why relational self-awareness is the cornerstone of a happy and healthy romantic relationship
  • How your relationship with yourself impacts the quality of your romantic relationships
  • Ways early experiences impact your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs about romantic love as well as your behaviors in romantic relationships
  • How to relate to your past so that it serves you, rather than compromises you.

You will be empowered with a more wholehearted self and a sense of curiosity and openness about the possibilities that lie within a romantic relationship. You will take home skills to help you navigate inevitable challenges and be ready, resilient, and confident in love.
