Program Description

Experience deep renewal and develop your potential to live with clarity and ease. Mindfulness meditation is scientifically proven to reduce stress, decrease chronic pain, and create a greater sense of well-being.

Mindfulness is the practice of cultivating present moment awareness, and mindfulness programs are now found in health care, education, business, and government in the United States and throughout the world. Why? Because it works.

In this weekend retreat, you will experience mindfulness meditation as a way to access powerful inner resources for health and vitality. You will have the unique opportunity to learn from Bob Stahl, a senior teacher at the Center for Mindfulness in Medicine, Health Care, and Society at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center, where the original Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program was developed.

In a highly experiential setting, you will learn:

  • Key teachings and practices of MSBR to immediately use in your life
  • Lifelong tools to maximize your well-being and reduce stress and discomfort
  • More effective coping strategies to deal with challenges, no matter how difficult they seem.

The workshop will include presentations, practice, discussion, and inquiry in both small and large groups. MBSR practitioners report many lasting benefits, including decreases in chronic pain, stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as enhanced self-awareness, acceptance, concentration, and creativity.
