Program Description

Cultivating the mother-daughter relationship is important at all stages of life; during the teen years, it is critical. There is no better time in your lives to get away together and do something that will result in greater ease and joy in your relationship.

Join a vibrant community of mothers and their 13- to 15-year-old daughters, and take time to slow down, nourish your relationship, and have fun. Guided by Sil Reynolds and her 25-year-old daughter Eliza Reynolds, you will dive into creative and playful techniques they have used themselves and shared with many mothers and daughters over the years.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Reinforce your already strong relationship—or learn how to reconnect if it’s been hard to find common ground lately
  • Gain tools that build bridges and keep the bridges strong through the teen years
  • Learn to respect and understand each other more completely
  • Cultivate authentic expression and deeper trust.

Mothers will have time with Sil to address issues of motherhood, mentoring, and letting go. Daughters will get together with Eliza to express their true feelings and share their visions. Mother and daughters take home new ways of being together in mutual respect and love—and great new memories from their time away.

Why Attend?

  • Teen daughters meet other teens from various parts of the country in a relaxed environment; they also spend time with Eliza as the model of a caring, supportive big sister.

  • Mothers have the weekend to slow down, spend quality time with their daughter, and talk with Sil about specific issues around raising a teenage daughter and making the teenage years a time for building connection and love.

  • Mothers and daughters have fun together, learn skills to improve their communication, and create deeper understanding.
