In this workshop, Broadway star Sandra Joseph, who has performed for millions as the leading lady in The Phantom of the Opera, creates a safe and supportive environment where you can face the obstacles to presence and transform your life.
Whether you have never been in front of an audience or have been performing for years, you have the opportunity to push yourself out of your comfort zone as you belt out a show tune, perform a monologue, or take a turn at an improvisational exercise.
Utilizing the tools of professional performers—including breathing exercises, meditation, gentle yoga, qigong, vocalization, and visualization—you will learn:
- Five pathways to presence to use in any stressful situation so you can show up and do your best
- Mindfulness-based methods combined with tools that allow you to stay true to your best self when stakes are high and obstacles are abundant
- To move through fear and self-doubt toward full self-expression and your highest career or creative aspirations.
