Tapping Your Unconscious for Life and Art
September 22-24, 2017
Friday-Sunday, 2 nights
Plus 2 nights all-inclusive accommodations priced separately below.
Take the stress out of your writing process. Allow your creative inspiration to flow onto the page. Whether you are a new or established writer, the Relax & Write™ method proves that the blank page is nothing to fear.
Most of us write using only a small part of the resources we have available. Yet these resources—our intuition, creativity, and deeper knowing—are the foundation of good writing and a fully realized life. Created by Maia Danziger, the Relax & Write process unlocks your creative unconscious and uses the rich material found there for developing your passion for writing and living.
In a safe and nonjudgmental setting, you will:
Maia, an Emmy Award-winning actress who has received the Kalachakra Initiation from the Dalai Lama, playfully and poetically demystifies the writing process, sharing insights and anecdotes from her own experience and those of her students, who include actors, artists, journalists, novelists, playwrights, and screenwriters.
You will return home with a method for writing that forges a repeatable path—a clear and easily accessible way to deep writing.
Maia Danziger is a Certified Life Coach who specializes in creativity development and career fulfillment for writers, actors, and artists. An Emmy Award-winning actress, as well as the founder and former artistic director of the Actor’s Company Theatre in New York, Danziger has appeared extensively on television, in film, and on and off Broadway.
When she was diagnosed in 1994 with breast cancer, Danziger developed Relax & Write™ as part of her healing process. Relax & Write is a unique method for unlocking the unconscious and using the rich material found there for life and art. She’s taught guided meditation for more than 10 years and leads workshops for a variety of organizations, including hospitals, wellness communities, universities, spas, and corporations.
A practicing Buddhist since 1979, she has twice received the Kalachakra Initiation from His Holiness the Dalai Lama, as well as initiation in the Bon tradition from Geshe Nyima Dakpa Rinpoche and H.H. 33rd Menri Trizin Lungtok Tenpai Nyima, the spiritual leader of the Bon.
Take your writing to new heights of creativity as you work with sought-after writing teacher and coach Maia Danzinger, who has been immersed in the worlds of writing, acting, and personal growth for decades.
Reinvigorate your writing practice by more easily connecting to your inner voice and learning to translate its wisdom into words on the page.
Enjoy writing and remove the stress from your process.
Allow your newfound connection to inner wisdom to influence not only your writing but also your life path.
