Program Description

Step into the fullness of your potential. All methods devoted to human potential emphasize the importance of awakening to the present moment. All that we long for—love, joy, peace, harmony, truth—require this fundamental capacity. Successful, inspiring leaders and skilled communicators radiate this quality of presence.

Not surprisingly, embodiment, being grounded in our bodies, is a reliable and skillful way to become present. In this workshop with world-renowned teacher Russell Delman, you will learn ancient and modern methods for directly and simply uncovering your natural capacity to be fully in the moment.

Put simply, this means:

  • Sitting quietly with your thoughts
  • Mindfully welcoming your feelings and emotions
  • Finding comfort, groundedness, and centeredness in your body.

The result is truly transformational. This weekend—through meditation, movement lessons, guided inquiry, and meaningful conversation—you will discover how to be at home in your body with a caring and curious presence around thoughts and feelings as they arise.

The meditation we will practice is a bare-bones approach to experiencing the present moment as it is. The movement lessons of Moshe Feldenkrais—perhaps the most neurologically sophisticated and effective way of transforming our motor patterns and self-image—will help you connect to the sensations of the body in interesting and fun ways.

You will leave more present and connected to inner joy, with practices for continuing to embody your best potential in life and work.
