This internationally acclaimed yoga-based workshop with Elise Browning Miller will empower you in important new ways that result in better posture and less pain. Through yoga, one can find the balance point that allows the scoliosis curve to coexist with gravity and activates the body’s natural plumb line.
A longtime student of yoga master B.K.S. Iyengar and his daughter Geeta, Elise lives pain-free with her scoliosis. In addition to a wealth of expert knowledge and extensive experience, she provides a therapeutic experience of the precise attention to alignment and anatomical detail that Iyengar Yoga is known for.
As a result, you will learn and experience:
- The anatomical background of scoliosis
- Optimal yoga postures and adaptations for scoliosis
- The cause-and-effect pattern of each movement
- How to individually adjust yoga postures to your needs
