Program Description

Mindfulness meditation has exploded as a powerful, evidence-based approach to improving emotional and physical well-being. Join world-renowned meditation teacher Shinzen Young, top mindfulness researcher David Creswell, PhD, and CEO and head trainer at Unified Mindfulness Julianna Raye in this unique retreat merging the best of neuroscience with the best of meditation practice.



Current research on mindfulness points consistently to one essential transformational skill: equanimity. But what exactly is equanimity and how can you develop it? In this enriching program, you will learn:



  • The science of equanimity and how to develop it
  • Everyday practices for improving well-being throughout the day
  • Clear techniques to counteract difficult emotional and physical states

Over the week you will experience a combination of practice guidance, discussions on neuroscience and wisdom, and Shinzen's and David's rich depth of professional experience. Guest teacher Julianna Raye, the head of Unified Mindfulness teacher training, will also present.
