Please Note: All packages are priced per person. Should you elect a shared accommodation and community hall bath, 1440 will randomly pair you with a gender-specific roommate. Only private rooms have the option of a private bath. 1440 Multiversity is a smoke-free campus.
 

Program Description

Have you discovered your True North? Do you know what your life and leadership are all about?

Leadership starts with being authentic, the genuine you. 1440's True North Leadership is a professional development program designed to help you become the leader you want to be. In the process you will discover your True North: the internal compass that guides you successfully through life.

During this 5-day program you'll learn to:
  • Lead with integrity and heart through difficult and pressure-filled challenges
  • Understand the impact of your life story and crucibles on your leadership style
  • Deepen your emotional intelligence through self-awareness, self-regulation, and empathy

The work of the Foundation led Scott and Joanie to launch 1440 Multiversity, a 21st century learning destination in the California redwoods of Santa Cruz County.

    Bill George is senior fellow at Harvard Business School, where he has taught leadership since 2004. He is author of several books, including the best sellers 7 Lessons for Leading in Crisis, True North, Finding Your True North, and Authentic Leadership. The former chairman and chief executive officer of Medtronic, Bill currently serves as a director of Goldman Sachs and the Mayo Clinic.
