Adriene Mishler, Mission-driven yogi and YouTube superstar

Adriene Mishler is an international yoga teacher, actress, writer, and entrepreneur from Austin, Texas, who combines studies of traditional yoga with developmental movement, storytelling, and mindfulness.

On a mission to get the tools of yoga into schools and homes across the globe, Adriene hosts the popular YouTube channel Yoga with Adriene (YWA), an online community of nearly six million viewers. YWA provides high-quality practices on yoga and mindfulness at no cost to inspire people of all ages, shapes, and sizes. Recognized by Google as the most-searched workout of 2015, YWA has been featured in the Wall Street Journal and was awarded a Streamy in Health and Wellness in 2016.

Adriene's approach to regular self-care embodies a playfulness, wisdom, and humor that encourages all personalities to the mat. She cofounded Find What Feels Good—a subscription site dubbed the first "Netflix for Yoga," that provides creative yoga and yoga lifestyle content across all devices. She also co-owns a brick-and-mortar studio, Practice Yoga Austin, which provides high-quality, donation-based yoga.

With a professional theater background, Adriene also works in television, voice-over, film, and dance and is a regular contributor to magazines and blogs. Recognized by Greatist as one of the 100 most influential people in health and fitness two years in a row, she teaches and inspires audiences around the globe.
