Karen Drucker, Singer-songwriter, inspirational workshop leader
Karen Drucker uses music to uplift and inspire. Through her workshops, speaking, coaching, and recording, Karen shares a message of hope and acceptance, to open hearts and make a difference.
Karen has recorded 20 CDs of her original inspirational music and is the author of an inspirational book, Let Go of the Shore: Stories and Songs that Set the Spirit Free. Her chants and songs are widely used around the world and often help people deal with illness or loss, find inspiration and empowerment, or just feel more centered.
She has been the music director of three different Centers for Spiritual Living churches in Northern California. She was honored with an honorary doctorate of music from the Center for Spiritual Living and a Grace Note Award from Unity Worldwide Ministries for her work within these movements.
Very few people can say that they have been a singing mermaid or living elevator music—hired to sing and play the piano in a moving elevator. Multitalented Karen has done all this and much more. Among her many experiences, she has been a professional comedienne, part of the first American women's relay team to swim the English Channel, and babysitter for the children of musician (and her neighbor and role model) Carole King when she was a teenager.
