Kari Harendorf is a yoga therapist and teacher trainer, Reiki master, and holistic health facilitator. She merges physical and spiritual practice with health science to help students achieve their highest levels of physical, intellectual, and emotional well-being.
Kari's focus on precise anatomical alignment and attunement helps students recognize their body's inherent perfect design and innate desire to be healthy, as inspired by the Katonah Yoga Method.
As the former star of Animal Planet's K9 Karma, she merged her passion for yoga and dogs with her "Doga" class, and has been featured in the New York Times, Yoga Journal, and the Wall Street Journal and on The Martha Stewart Show, ABC News, and Fox & Friends.
She leads 200- and 1,000-hour yoga teacher trainings and anatomy and injury prevention workshops internationally. She is also a master trainer of the Urban Zen Integrative Therapy Program teaching Reiki, essential oil and yoga therapy, and nutrition to medical caregivers.
