Laura McKowen, Irreverent writer, soulful teacher, voice for sobriety

Laura McKowen is an irreverent writer, teacher, and podcast host. After a long, successful career in public relations and the Mad Men-esque drinking culture of advertising, Laura started writing, got sober, and has become recognized as a fresh voice in the recovery movement.

Beloved for her soulful writing, she's the founder of several online programs for sobriety and personal development. Her sold-out courses and retreats teach people how to say "Yes!" to a bigger life.

Laura publishes an award-winning blog, and she hosted the podcasts HOME, which was on the iTunes Top 100 charts, and Spiritualish, where she provided an irreverent take on self-help. She has been featured in WebMD, the New York Post, Bravo, the Today show, and more. Her first book, We Are the Luckiest: The Surprising Magic of a Sober Life, is forthcoming in January 2020.
