Rest & Reconnect Weekend for Couples

“To be fully seen by somebody then and be loved anyhow — this is a human offering that can border on miraculous." ― Elizabeth Gilbert

Home is where we heal. This restorative workshop on February 6-8, 2026, invites couples to reconnect, rediscover, and re-energize their relationship by focusing on what matters most while uncovering fresh perspectives. Set against the serene backdrop of ancient redwoods and with expert facilitation from 1440 Adjunct Faculty Sara Mirza — psychology educator and coach with Avra Coaching — participants will explore tools for communication, emotional insight, and mutual understanding in a supportive, nature-immersed setting.

Through guided conversations, embodied activities, and creative reflection, you’ll explore evolving values, learn to communicate with clarity and compassion, and celebrate the small gestures that make your partnership thrive. Each session blends meaningful dialogue with expressive art, helping you imagine together, feel together, and play together — leaving with renewed gratitude, actionable commitments, and deeper insights. You’ll also examine archetypal patterns within your relationship, discover how they shape daily life, and develop communication strategies that allow you to voice needs and desires with honesty and ease, supporting the natural evolution of your partnership.
