Culinary medicine is changing the future of health—blending food, nutrition, and health care to improve outcomes for both patients and providers. To importantly contribute to and further advance 1440 Multiversity’s charitable purpose and Live Well learning pillar, the campus has co-created with the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine this immersive 3-day workshop, featuring a team of nationally recognized adjunct faculty who will emphasize 1440’s Food as Medicine approach and guide participants through hands-on culinary learning sessions, evidence-based lectures, and open discussions to explore how culinary medicine can be effectively integrated into any medical, wellness, corporate, or community practice. Whether just starting or scaling an existing program or looking to partner with other programs in their communities, program participants will leave with real-world strategies, peer support, and a renewed sense of purpose. Rooted in 1440’s Live Well learning pillar, this program equips healthcare professionals, public health advocates, and community-based leaders with practical tools to address chronic conditions through nutrition, lifestyle education, and hands-on culinary medicine training. Between lectures and workshop sessions, 1440 Multiversity faculty will nurture your well-being, with built in mindfulness and embodied movement sessions within the inspiring setting of 1440 Multiversity’s private redwood campus.

This workshop is approved for up to 13 continuing education credits for physicians, physician assistants, nurses, and dietitians.
