About This Learning Event

Culinary medicine is changing the future of healthcare—blending food, nutrition science, and clinical care to improve outcomes for both patients and providers. To importantly contribute to and further advance 1440 Multiversity’s charitable purpose and Live Well learning pillar, the campus has co-created with the Postgraduate Institute of Medicine this immersive 3-day workshop, featuring a team of nationally recognized adjunct faculty who will emphasize 1440’s Food as Medicine approach and guide participants through hands-on culinary learning sessions, evidence-based lectures, and open discussions to explore how culinary medicine can be effectively integrated into any medical practice. Whether  just beginning or looking to scale an existing program, program participants will leave with real-world strategies, peer support, and a renewed sense of purpose. Between lectures and workshop sessions, 1440 Multiversity faculty will nurture your well-being, with built in mindfulness and embodied movement sessions within the inspiring setting of 1440 Multiversity’s private redwood campus.

The team of 1440 Adjunct Faculty Members for this program—an interdisciplinary group of clinicians, educators, and culinary leaders from across the country—offer a rich mix of perspectives, practice, and community. Faculty report no relevant financial relationships with ineligible entities related to the educational content of this CE activity.
