The Canyon Within
You have built a life that looks right from the outside. And still, some quiet part of you knows you’ve been walking in the dark. The Canyon Within is a descent — into the place you’ve been carrying alone — and then a climb back up into the harvest: what all that hard work was actually for. The walks are gentle and always optional. The real journey is quiet, and inward, and safe.
Guided by 1440 Adjunct Faculty, Diné and Lithuanian author Tony Skrelūnas, you’ll learn a toolkit drawn from traditions that survived everything: Stone Breath to steady the nervous system in a single minute, gratitude and reflection to soften a hard inner voice, storytelling and journaling to turn your hardest chapters into strength. It’s woven with the 1440 Multiversity healing foods, meditation, sound baths, and forest walks — and with the Ancestral Kitchen, where a Navajo family turns the harvest into medicine you can taste. The Canyon Within is an intimate weekend of learning, restoration, and connection in nature, and a beautiful time to be curious.
