Anchored by our Live Well learning pillar workshop, Think Clearly, Age Powerfully: Your Guide to Lifelong Brain Health, 1440 Multiversity Adjunct Faculty Dr. Darla Booth with will confront common worries individuals often carry about their aging brains: cognitive decline, brain fog, the looming possibility of dementia. Once the common pitfalls that can occur over one’s lifetime are explained and understood, Dr. Booth will share practical tips for nourishing and supporting each part of the brain through movement, nutrition, cognitive exercise, and supplementation.

    • 2:00-4:00 p.m.: Check-In & Registration for Overnight Guests
    • 4:30-6:00 p.m.: Think Clearly, Age Powerfully: Your Guide to Lifelong Brain Health workshop with Dr. Darla Booth, DC, CFMC
    • 6:00-7:00 p.m.: Dinner at Kitchen Table
    • 7:00-10:00 p.m.: Self-Reflection Time and Fire Pits at Common Grounds Patio
    • 7:30-8:30 p.m.: Evening Signature Class (example: Sound Journey)
  • Monday, Nov. 10
    • 7:00-7:45 a.m.: Morning Signature Class (example: Qigong, Yoga or Stick Fit)
    • 7:30-8:30 p.m.: Breakfast at Kitchen Table
    • 9:00 a.m.: Guestroom Checkout & Departures

 

Your Program Stay Includes:

  • Tuition for Think Clearly, Age Powerfully: Your Guide to Lifelong Brain Health workshop
  • Overnight accommodations in a suite or room with a private bath
  • Locally sourced, freshly prepared meals at Kitchen Table using ingredients from regional farms within 300 miles of campus, beginning with dinner upon arrival through breakfast on departure day
  • Up to two 1440 Signature Classes, one on arrival night and one on departure morning; options may include meditation, yoga, nature walks, art, nutrition and more – classes vary per day
  • Access to campus amenities including the Fitness Center, 4 miles of nature trails, and the 250-square-foot outdoor infinity tub overlooking the forest

Meet Your 1440 Adjunct Faculty Member – Dr. Darla Booth

Dr. Darla Booth, DC, CFMC specializes in helping patients with complex health issues identify their root cause, improve symptoms, and stack habits to optimize their health through functional medicine and chiropractic care. She treats patients locally and virtually from her practice in Los Gatos, CA.

Dr. Booth is also the founder of The Shift, an online community where you can build a path toward healing with functional medicine. Through courses, communities, and science-based functional medicine strategies, you can shift your health one habit at a time. Clinician led and community powered, The Shift will be launching in the fall of 2025.
