About This Learning Event

Be our guest at Sunday Family Meal at 1440, a new immersive campus experience that invites you to connect, learn and indulge in the redwoods. Join us for a nourishing breakfast at Kitchen Table that includes participation in a fun nutrition class demonstrating our "food as medicine" philosophy.  Guests have the option to purchase an exclusive 1440 Larder Bag to bring the flavors of 1440 home with you. This holistic learning package is an inspiring way to nurture your body, heart, and mind as you enjoy an intentional weekend moment with yourself and others.

What is a larder? By definition, a "larder" is a large cupboard or room for storing food. The Larder Bag is a sustainable inspiration created by the 1440 Culinary Team to preserve food and prevent waste. Each 1440 Larder Bag for two provides a freshly baked loaf of bread accompanied by some of our favorite house-made pantry treats that change weekly to include infused oil, miso, pasta, sauces and ferments which were imagined, prepared and nurtured during the early stages of the pandemic. Participating in Sunday Family Meal at 1440 is the only way to purchase these unique limited-edition products and to enjoy the comforts of the 1440 kitchen in your own home.
