About This Learning Event

Wonder Well in the redwoods as you engage in Lunch & Learn at 1440 Multiversity, designed to help you find inspiration out of curiosity. Join our popular teacher-led signature class -- restorative yoga for all levels -- followed by a delicious, sustainable and locally sourced lunch at Kitchen Table featuring global cuisine prepared by our 1440 Culinary Team. Deeply nourishing and highly enjoyable, Lunch & Learn at 1440 provides a fulfilling opportunity to connect with yourself and other like-hearted community members while creating hope for living well.

1440 Multiversity is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and private philanthropic campus - all ticket purchases help feed families in our community and supports our 1440 grant and scholarship program fostering the 1440 vision of creating hope for living well.

10:00 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

Lunch & Learn Schedule:

  • 10:00 a.m.: Arrival & Registration
  • 10:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.: Restorative Yoga Class with 1440 Experience Instructor (all skill levels welcome)
  • 12:00-1:00 p.m.: Lunch at Kitchen Table; sustainable, locally sourced and mindfully prepared
  • 1:00-1:30 p.m.: Event Concludes & Departures

$65 per person, includes lunch at Kitchen Table

Lunch Menu:

  • Heirloom Bean Salad: Radish, Cilantro, Onions, Pickled Jalapenos, Jicama, Oregano Jalapeno Vinaigrette (Gluten Free, Plant Based, Nut Free)
  • Winter Squash Enchiladas: Oaxaca Cheese, Garlic Rice, Guajillo Red Sauce, Queso Fresco, Crema, Fennel Onion Salad, Parsley (Gluten Free, Nut Free, Plant Based Winter Squash Option Available)
  • Churro Cookie: Toasted Cinnamon, Dulce de Leche, Madagascar Vanilla Bean (Gluten Free, Plant Based, Nut Free)

Event Notes:

  • The start time of the class is 10:30 a.m., and guests may check into campus up to 30 minutes before the class start to enjoy our Lodge Retail Shop, Bridge of Intentions and Common Grounds Patio.
  • This is an indoor event, held in one of our ventilated classroom spaces.
  • We recommend that you wear comfortable clothing that allows you to freely move, and bring a light jacket or layers as temperatures may be cooler beneath our redwood canopies.
  • 1440 will provide any equipment or props required for this class; you are also welcome to bring your own.
  • Reusable water bottles are welcome -- filtered water stations are available throughout campus.
  • Kitchen Table offers ample indoor and outdoor seating, including outdoor covered seating options, to practice social distancing.
  • This is an 18-and-over event.
