About this event

Wonder Well and find energy through community during this unique Lunch & Learn that combines movement with nutrition for your holistic life!

Start your learning journey with an invigorating guided nature hike at Glenwood Preserve with 1440 Experience Instructor Gary Marcoccia, as he shares wisdom and information about the flora and fauna of this special property that neighbors the 1440 Multiversity campus. Glenwood Preserve is a beautifully maintained open space managed by the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County that has inspired many of our 1440 guests during their learning programs.

Upon returning to campus, participate in a community lunch at Kitchen Table, where our 1440 Culinary Team will share about our "Food as Medicine" nutrition philosophy along with details of how they prepared locally sourced seasonal ingredients.

Following lunch, round out your immersive learning experience with "Applying Food as Medicine to Your LIfe," an informative lecture workshop with 1440 Culinary Arts Education faculty Ryan Fillhardt that provides research, insights and practical steps for how to make mindful choices to nourish your body and life.

1440 is a philanthropic campus, and each booking contributes to serving our community by providing scholarships and volunteer services in support of creating hope for living well.
