Julia Cameron is a prolific artist of more than three decades.  She has 35 published books to her name, ranging from her best-selling The Artist‰'s Way, which has sold‰ more than four million copies,‰ to her widely praised and hard-hitting crime novel, The Dark Room. Cameron has also published volumes of children‰s' poems and prayers as well as a memoir, Floor Sample. She is a master narrator and guide through the mysterious and sometimes rocky terrain of the creative process.

What's the one thing that we should all remember about love?

 
We need to ask to be an open channel for the love of the universe to flow through us.
 

Where's your happy place?

 
I live up the mountain from Santa Fe, and the dirt roads leading to my house have spectacular views.
 

When you were a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?

 
Two things: a writer and a horse trainer. I've done both.
