The creation of 1440 Multiversity stemmed from a desire by Joanie and Scott Kriens to establish a beautiful and nurturing destination where people and organizations could gather in community to explore, learn, reflect, connect and reenergize.

What facilities are located on campus for me to use during my free time?

1440 has a fitness center equipped with a variety of cardio equipment, free weights and suspension bands. There is also a 250-square-foot heated infinity hot tub overlooking the forest. Guests of 1440 Multiversity may access the public Glenwood Nature Preserve within short walking distance or elect to explore the 4 miles of private on-site hiking and walking trails available on campus. In addition, 1440 offers several outdoor reflection areas such as Crest Desk and the Cathedral for journaling, meditation and contemplation among the redwoods and "Mother Tree." We offer live music in the evening at Common Grounds Patio so you may enjoy connecting with others around our fire pits under the stars.
