Program Description

Are you a man with a finely tuned nervous system? Do you notice more subtleties than others? Feel and process things more deeply?

In warm-hearted community, come together with other highly sensitive men to learn from experts in the field and better understand the challenges and opportunities life presents to you. Elaine N. Aron, PhD, John D. Hughes, and Tracy Cooper, PhD, present a workshop examining Sensory-Processing Sensitivity and how it impacts the lives of highly sensitive (HS) men, based on the groundbreaking research of Elaine and others. Move toward self-acceptance as you explore topics like the HS man and career, early childhood, relationships, and healing from trauma.

In an immersive weekend program, you will:

  • Increase awareness of yourself as a HS man
  • Gain greater clarity around Sensory-Processing Sensitivity as a psychological construct
  • Learn better ways of coping with the many challenges unique to HS men
  • Make meaningful discoveries about how you express your high sensitivity in the world.

Your expert faculty will facilitate group discussions based on the Socratic method, short presentations, and one-on-one sharing opportunities. Journaling and drawing will spark profound learning. Daily guided meditations for those who wish to participate and walking outdoors will encourage ease and relaxation.
