Tracy Cooper, PhD Leading thinker on higher education and high sensitivity
Tracy Cooper is a researcher, author, consultant, and mentor in the field of high sensitivity. He has become a leading thinker and advocate for the role of critical creative thinking in society. Tracy practices consulting one-on-one with highly sensitive people and high sensation seeking highly sensitive people in career transition and crisis.
As the chairman of the master of liberal arts program at Baker University, Tracy has brought his potential as a highly sensitive person to the higher education community, to its great benefit. Tracy's blog addresses a multiplicity of topics of significance to a broad cross section of highly sensitive people.
He appeared in the documentary, Sensitive: The Untold Story, featuring Elaine N. Aron and many other researchers exploring and investigating Sensory-Processing Sensitivity. Holding degrees from Fort Hays State University and the California Institute of Integral Studies, he is the author of several books, including Thrive: The Highly Sensitive Person and Career and Thrill: The High Sensation Seeking Highly Sensitive Person.
Tracy is a United States Army veteran, has designed and built his own log home, and is an award-winning fine artist producing wheel-thrown pottery and oil paintings. He is a first-generation college graduate and father of four.
