About This Learning Event

Start your evening with a deeply restorative Sound Healing session designed to soothe the nervous system and guide you into relaxation. Make yourself comfortable as the sound of crystal bowls fills the space, expertly played to create vibrations that bypass the busy mind, easing tension and fostering calm throughout the body. This special meditative experience enhances your connection to inner insight and supports your body’s natural ability to relax, restore, and heal, setting a peaceful tone for the day ahead.


Afterwards, enjoy delicious, sustainable and locally sourced dinner at Kitchen Table featuring global cuisine prepared by our 1440 Culinary Team. Deeply nourishing and highly enjoyable, Discovery Dinners at 1440 provides a fulfilling opportunity to connect with yourself and other like-hearted community members while creating hope for living well.

 

Time: 4:00-7:00 p.m.

 

Discovery Dinner Schedule:

  • 4:00-4:30 p.m.: Arrival & Registration
  • 4:30-6:00 p.m.: Sound Healing with a 1440 Experience Instructor
  • 6:00-7:00 p.m.: Dinner at Kitchen Table; sustainable, locally sourced and mindfully prepared
  • 7:00 p.m.: Event Conclusion & Departures

 

Price: $75 per person, includes workshop materials and dinner at Kitchen Table

 

Dinner Menu:
Due to the seasonality of the sustainable ingredients we source from local farms, the Kitchen Table lunch menu will be available and posted approximately one week prior to the event date. A plant-based option is always available.

 

Event Notes:

  • Guests may check into campus up to 30 minutes before the class start to enjoy our Lodge Retail Shop, Bridge of Intentions and Common Grounds Patio. Please note that other areas of campus—including trails not part of the guided hike and the jacuzzi tub—are unavailable to Community Education Class guests due to other scheduled programming.
  • This is an indoor event, held in one of our ventilated classroom gathering spaces.
    1440 will provide everything required for this class.

  • Reusable water bottles are welcome -- filtered water stations are available throughout campus.
  • Kitchen Table offers ample indoor and outdoor seating, including outdoor covered seating options.
  • This is an 18-and-over event.

 

Please Note: This class includes a community dinner in Kitchen Table with other guests. It is separate from the private dinner and tasting class in the Teaching Kitchen, also happening this evening. Each class requires separate registration, and same-day changes or bookings are not possible due to the advanced preparation required for Chef Ryan Fillhardt’s class. Please double-check your selection when booking.

 

Cancellation Policy: Participants may request a refund up to 7 days before the event. After this period, all sales are final. All proceeds from Community Learning Events support our 1440 philanthropic and volunteer efforts.
