Program Description

Before dinner tonight, you will see hundreds of emails, ads, tweets, and posts. Yet by tomorrow, when you settle in for a cup of coffee, most of what you saw will be forgotten—except for the stories.

The ability to find, shape, and share your own most essential stories is one of your greatest assets as a leader.  If you are shifting a paradigm, innovating as an entrepreneur, or guiding a team, you can benefit from a treasury of essential stories that you love to tell—and can adapt for different audiences and for different purposes. The key is to have a stash of core, retellable stories.

While we know a good story when we hear one, we don’t always know how to tell one. This week, with storyteller and story coach Jay Golden, you will learn:

  • What a good story actually is and how it works
  • How to find, shape, and share your most essential stories
  • How to adapt key stories to various audiences
  • The impact of your stories on your life, relationships, and work in the world.

You will leave with a universal framework to find and shape any story and the means to create your own treasured collection of stories to use in your business, including origin stories (where you come from), impact stories (what you do), and vision stories (where you are going).
