Program Description

There is more than one way to look at physical suffering. The mind-body system is powerful in its effect on our overall health. What we think in our heads and feel in our hearts can become sensations in our bodies. This fluid communication between mind and body means that releasing repressed emotions can transform and free you from chronic pain.

Be guided to a mind-body transformation by chronic pain expert and psychotherapist Nicole Sachs, LCSW, and her assistant teachers Lisa Schlosberg, LMSW, and Caroline Lee Dewey, LMSW. Through Nicole's unique practice of JournalSpeak and other targeted methods of self-discovery, your nervous system shifts from fight or flight to rest and repair, alleviating myriad chronic symptoms, syndromes, and conditions. You will:

  • Learn how personal narratives free our misguided brains from pain syndromes to distract us from painful emotions
  • Practice exercises to give emotions an outlet of release so the mind-body system finds equilibrium and symptoms dissolve
  • Become educated on the exact techniques necessary to heal your personal symptoms and practice them in a supportive setting
  • Gain lifetime tools to combat any new pain syndrome in the future.

Establish a bedrock foundation for long-lasting wellness with a combination of interactive lectures, discussion, meditation, art and music therapy, journaling, and movement. This warm, dynamic, and embodied workshop is ideal for professionals and anyone suffering from emotional or physical pain.

This powerful and life altering work not only ceases pain but also liberates us to a whole new freedom for living. Because our pain is simply an entry point, inviting us to the deep truths that are calling for our recognition and release.
