Program Description

Jump-start transformation and thrive by challenging mindsets, illuminating blind spots, and exploring pathways to courageous, wholehearted living. Join us for this mindfulness-based happiness workshop based on Stanford University's continuing studies' most popular course, which Laura Delizonna, PhD, has taught since 2005. It draws the connection between mindfulness and happiness and offers exercises that lead to lasting happiness.

Happiness hinges not on what we have or do in life but in how we respond to circumstances. No matter what we face, our choices determine the degree to which we discover possibility and experience positivity. The science of happiness reveals that true happiness is created not found.

In this highly experiential, skill-building weekend, participants learn frameworks, tools, and experiential exercises from positive psychology, emotional intelligence, somatic experiencing, mindfulness, interpersonal psychology, and acceptance.

You will learn:

  • The Self-Coaching for Happiness Method
  • Cutting-edge research in the field of positive psychology and the science of well-being
  • How to continue to build mindfulness-based happiness habits when you return home.

Research demonstrates that happier people achieve greater success and wealth, are healthier and more altruistic, and have more satisfying relationships than those who are unhappy.

Come engage in peer discussions, outdoor meditations, reflections, group discussion, journaling, and one-on-one sharing. You will leave with the experience and knowledge you need to apply these principles to your personal and professional life for more happiness and success.
