Laura Holson, Award-winning journalist and The BOX Sessions™ founder
Laura Holson is a National Magazine Award-winning journalist who has written narrative features and personality profiles for the New York Times, Vanity Fair, Town & Country, and Bloomberg Businessweek, among other publications. For more than two decades, she has chronicled the intersection of celebrity, money, and power in Silicon Valley and Hollywood.
Laura is a life-long student of creativity and began writing about it in 2014 when she created a salon to discuss art and ideas. She is a speaker and moderator, teaches workshops on the creative self, and is the founder and creator of The Box Sessions™. The Box Sessions is a trademark of Sant Epernay LLC.
Laura has an undergraduate degree in art history from the University of California at Santa Barbara and a master's degree in journalism from the University of Missouri. She joined the New York Times in 1998 and has interviewed everyone from Steven Spielberg, Donald Trump, Jr., Julia Roberts, and George Clooney. She is a global traveler, photographer, and letterpress printer. Laura is currently writing a book about the creative self.
