About This Learning Event

Join us for Fitness Friday, a fun way to learn new embodied movement practices in community with others! On this Friday discover Stick Fitness with Dr. Arthur Faygenholtz, DC, an innovative and playful approach to personal health and wellbeing. Stick Fitness incorporates the use of rattan, bamboo and liquid sticks to explore new and novel stretching techniques while using natural movements to benefit posture, cardiovascular health, coordination, balance, strength and more. Learn new skills toward improved physical fitness and brain health and have a lot of fun with Dr. Arthur while practicing. Following class, refuel with a seasonal house-made juice blend formulated by our 1440 campus nutritionist. Live Well and "laugh well" in this engaging and energizing class that will leave you feeling inspired, fulfilled and ready to integrate this unique tool into your daily routine.

2:30-4:00 p.m.


Fitness Friday Schedule:

  • 2:30 p.m.: Arrival & Registration
  • 2:45-4:00 p.m.: Stick Fitness class with Dr. Arthur (all skill levels welcome)
  • 4:00 p.m.: Seasonal House-Made Juice Blends & Departures
