Is there a wait-list for programs that are already full? 1440 is happy to extend the option of placing guests on a wait-list for a desired program that is full. Please contact us at 1-844-544-1440 (option 1) or [email protected] We will notify guests should space become available.
How are classrooms and private event rooms assigned? 1440's goal is to optimize the number of visitors to campus to expose as many individuals to the opportunity to learn as possible in service of our nonprofit mission. Therefore, classrooms are assigned at 1440's sole discretion, according to the final number of participants in each class and the requirements outlined by the faculty regarding equipment and supplies needed for each classroom. Some of our classrooms are also equipped with recording and streaming capability so please be sure to outline your requirements to be assigned to the indoor or outdoor classroom that is best suited to meet your needs. All programs must take place in the spaces assigned by 1440 and any use of spaces without the expressed written consent by 1440 will be assessed back to the faculty or private event. No public spaces may be reserved or utilized for private events or workshops as they are designed to be enjoyed by all campus guests.
Is there a required dress code? What is the appropriate attire to attend a class? All registered guests are required to wear their name badges at all times, in addition to a shirt and shoes, sandals, or flip-flops. Most classes welcome guests in attire that they feel most comfortable in. We recommend clothing that affords you freedom of movement to stretch, bend, and posture yourself. Nonslip shoes are recommended, and some classes afford the opportunity to remove your footwear. While most classes are indoors, there are some classes offered outdoors so be sure to dress appropriately. We also recommend that you bring your own refillable water bottle and a towel if you perspire easily. For yoga classes, we do provide mats and supplies; however, you may bring your own. Always wear your registration badge as you will be asked to retrieve it before being afforded access to the class or any other area of campus. Guests may not enter any dining area barefoot or without a shirt.

Is 1440 a hotel? 1440 is not a hotel, it is a nonprofit learning destination that houses guests who came to learn, much like a private college campus; however, on our campus, guests can take courses for a single day or over multiple days. 1440 will also allow private events to use the campus provided that they are mission-aligned in values and purpose. We do not host social events such as weddings that do not meet our learning requirements.
