No. All Rest & Renewal packages are designed for immersive learning and self-discovery through participation in signature classes. While you may participate in as many signature classes as you would like, your package does not include workshop tuition or workshop access.
Guests booked under a Rest & Renewal package may determine their own length of stay and learning - from one night to multiple nights or more. Note that the learning experiences offered through Signature Classes will vary each day so there are many options on your path to wellness and self-discovery to explore in addition to our Healing Arts center. Rest & Renewal guests are invited also to add in a workshop at the beginning, middle, or end of a rest and renewal experience for the full immersive stay.
Guests may register at the Lodge after 4:00 pm. If you arrive prior to that time, you may leave your luggage at reception; you will be issued a temporary guest pass that will allow you to enjoy a stroll around campus or take a signature class that is scheduled before dinner. Once your room is ready, you will exchange your visitor pass for your Rest & Renewal registration badge.
Once you are formally registered, you may access Kitchen Table for dinner, which is served from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, as well as attend an optional Welcome Session. Be sure to also register your cell phone number at the Lodge to receive schedule updates and make service requests during your stay.
If you plan to arrive late on arrival day, please let us know so we can be sure to accommodate your needs. Please contact us at 1-844-544-1440 (option 1) or [email protected]
The number of guests on a rest and renewal stay varies based on how many guests are booked in programs. Weekends are typically much more popular for Rest and Renewal stays with locals so if you are looking for a time when the campus is less active, call our Reservations team and they can offer some dates when the campus is less occupied.
No. 1440 only grants scholarships to guests attending programs and workshops. Please see the Scholarships tab on our website for more information on how to apply. However, if you are a nonprofit organization and wish to sponsor some work at 1440 for the underserved we will gladly receive your application for assistance.
Yes. 1440 does provide a courtesy waitlist for guests who cannot be accommodated over their preferred travel dates, however, since guests are required to pay for their stays in advance they rarely cancel. It is to your advantage to have alternative travel date options.
1440 recommends guests bring the following items to ensure a more enjoyable stay on campus: camera, hat, refillable water bottle, sunscreen, notepad, sunglasses, jacket, tea bags, and bathroom essentials.
