Dear Friends and Colleagues of 1440 Multiversity,

We share deep concern for our community and the world as a result of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, and our heartfelt goal is to always express empathy in a mindful way to our employees, faculty, and guests. During this unprecedented time, our priority at 1440 Multiversity is to protect the welfare and well-being of our community – with that in mind, we have made a poignant yet conscious decision to suspend all public and private events through May 14, 2020 at the recommendation of the CDC and other federal, state, and local agencies. In order to restore the work schedules and employment of our entire staff, we hope to welcome guests back to campus on May 15, 2020, however that date may be prolonged based on the societal climate in our nation and around the world.

To help you fulfill your future learning commitments, over the next eight weeks or more we will continue to take reservations over the phone (+1-888-727-1440) and on our website for stays with arrival dates beyond May 14, 2020. There are dozens of impactful and inspiring programs planned for the summer months at 1440, and we encourage you to visit 1440.org frequently to view new faculty workshops, Rest & Renewal packages, community learning events, and other important updates.

If you are currently registered for a program between March 20 – May 14, 2020, our 1440 Reservations Team will be in touch with you to either cancel your reservation or assist you in selecting future dates for a return trip once we can be assured that social distancing restrictions have been lifted.

Our hope is that you will continue to engage with 1440 Multiversity digitally during this recess period. We intend to provide you with additional engaging content and online learning experiences to help nourish your mind, body, and spirit in order to continue your work of personal growth and wellness. Two key tenets of the 1440 mission are building collaborative communities and hosting conversations that matter – even if we are not able to see you on campus, we are dedicated to fulfilling these critical components of our vision for you during this time, to keep us all connected and inspired to spend some of the precious 1440 minutes we have each day just a little differently.

We encourage you to explore the following:

  •     Please visit us often on our website, 1440.org, where you will find our blog.

We know this is a time of uncertainty and discomfort, and we are available to answer any questions you may have. Please reach out to health.safety@1440.org or call +1-844-544-1440 with any inquiries or concerns.

Thank you for your friendship, compassion, and continued support as we navigate this unprecedented pandemic. We are grateful for you and look forward to welcoming you back to campus soon to resume our nonprofit mission work with your continued support.

With Gratitude,

The 1440 Multiversity Family
